Why We Love Method
Method was founded by a couple of roommates with a vision. One knew that people wanted cleaning products they didn’t have to hide under their sinks and the other knew how to make them without any dirty ingredients. From that foundation and idea, Method was born.
Method is now the largest green cleaning companies in the world. They use ingredients in their formulas that are comprehensively assessed for safety and environmental health. Their packaging design and materials are also evaluated for safety and environmental factors. Their permanent line of fabric care, personal care and home care products are Cradle to Cradle certified at the silver or gold level.
Other Highlights
- In 2015, Method opened the industry’s first LEED platinum-certified soap factory in Chicago, setting new standards for making soap.
- In 2014, Method reincorporates as a public benefit corporation, codifying that its corporate governance meets the highest standard of social and environmental ethics.
